Your stroll through the gilded wood has lasted longer than expected, so much so that night has fallen. You're not alone in this wood, you're convinced.
You hear hooting from the canopy - it's “The Nightwatchers”. Creatures with flamboyant plumage and scotopic eyes that cut through the darkness. You hear the sound of mingling wings and foliage, and already the warm light of the candle you've seen is wavering.
Fortunately, the moon is clear tonight, so you should be able to find your way back.
As a fun fact, when creating this painting, your favourite artist abandoned his glasses and called upon the sharp eyesight of the owl to help him complete the painting. The subject of the artwork was therefore not chosen at random.
